Those taxes were based off the old house before they tore it down. The most recent property card was at $16k, a 23% increase from the 13k. That was before it sold for 1.7M. That house will eventually be up to the high 20's.

There is also Riverside in Paulus Hook. One of the nice things about this group is that they have many locations and the one in Secaucus is open everyday.

Chicago was ignored for one of 2 reasons.

1. Obama didn't want to make Emanuel look bad.

2. As long as the gangbangers are generally only killing each other, the authorities are looking the other way.

Even though it is not required, I think most people if they see a house described as having a bedroom will assume a closet, door and window.

I always hear it is better to over deliver than under deliver when it comes to real estate.

I buy whatever I can from Target because with the red card and cartwheel, they are almost always cheaper than purchasing those items elsewhere.

Acme has an app that gives you something free each week.

Amazon Prime Pantry when delivery is free (sometimes they have promotions based off your other orders or if you order a certain amount of goods. It is convenient to use 3camels to track item prices)

FD for their highest daily quality items.

Wow, you can afford to live in downtown but you can't afford to tip a driver?! Here is a story of a driver who work 60 hours and only netted $350 (driver does not get vacation time or matching ss wages on that either). Uber won't put a psa since it will be bad for business and the bottomline since they paying for slave labor.

I already told you, if Uber wanted me to tip their drivers they would build it into their app like Lyft. Nobody is forcing anyone to drive for Uber. The fact is, this is one of the easiest jobs to ever exist and therefore should be paid that way.

how do you even know how much to tip out of pocket? I don't know my total fare cost till after i'm out of the car.

The whole idea of Uber when I started was a fast experience where you don't need to worry about tip. It makes no sense to hail an uber on your phone, track its whereabouts on your phone, find out how much it costs on your phone, pay for it on your phone and then have to dig out your wallet and hope you have some small bills. I'm gonna stick with that until Uber does a nationwide PSA about it. The drivers should just drive for Lyft if it's that big of a problem.

If I recall, most luxury apartment towers will replace your bulbs, even the standard bulbs if they are in a fixture.

It is like this throughout the country, if you share the CEO's political beliefs you should take it and not be a hypocrite. If you are on the other side, why support this progressive when there are so many other options available?

Since most condo buildings don't have 1:1 unit to parking, you will see the more financially sensitive on the streets.

One large issue is room sharing. Imagine a 2BR Condo with 1 parking spot that the owner has rented out. In the worst case scenario, the leasees are 4 strangers with 4 cars. At best, 1 of them uses the deeded parking. At worst, they all get permits because all the other garage spots are owned by the other residents.

Probably, if the resident can show that the building doesn't have a parking spot available the PA will issue a permit.

I'm originally from CA, the thought of it leaving sounds great when you read the propaganda. However, the reality is the state is only great because it is part of the US.

Those secessionist idiots have not thought the idea completely through. Let's say the rest of the US is appalled by CA and says let them leave. Imagine if the US wanted to be vindictive? We could create huge trade barriers, remove all defense. Ban any flights. In addition, businesses hate uncertainty. I'm pretty sure a lot of them would relocate to the US.

Then CA will have internal squabbles, the North will want to separate from the South, Mexico will invade finding no resistance...

Lol if California even tried to seriously leave the Union the military would squash it so fast.

"Yes California is the nonviolent campaign to establish the country of California using any and all legal and constitutional means to do so. We advocate for peaceful secession from the United States by use of an independence referendum to establish a mandate, followed by a nationwide campaign to advocate in support of a constitutional exit from the Union."

Why would non-Californians support this? What about the tax base!

Tern, suzy mentioned specifically Morris & Van Vorst. Parts of Van Vorst are actually private, so you don't need a permit to park there. I think it's from dudley to essex.

There is construction on van vorst between sussex and morris, I don't think the the PA will be able to ticket any construction vehicles (as they pay for an off duty cop that will probably shoo them away).

I too have seen lots of students parking their cars in that area, however I have not checked if they had purchase proper non resident parking stickers. Seeing that some of their cars are nice, I'm sure most do. The situation will only get worse as more high density housing is built.

The popular vote is irrelevant, the founding fathers knew that because of the tyranny of the majority a true democracy would lead to ruin.

Also, these idiots rioting are just enforcing the stereotype that liberals are just big hypocrites. It is always do as I say, not as I do.

In full disclosure, I voted for Hil even though I'm a Republican.
