Don't these things come with a warranty?

Or maybe we should just return our mayor instead.

People living near these cell facilities report "nausea, dizziness, buzzing in the ears, headaches, head pressure, difficulty sleeping, brain fog, skin rash, burning sensation in the skin, and a metallic taste in the mouth"

Sounds great!

Also, "The power density behind an antenna is hundreds to thousands of times lower than in front."

It's the neighbors who might have the most problems.

http://www.treehugger.com/green-food/ ... esidential-buildings.html

However according to the article below, "federal law now prohibits municipalities from rejecting zoning for a cell phone tower solely on the grounds that it may pose health risks.".

If you don't want burning skin and RF interference, your best bet is to prevent it on the grounds that it is a historical area and would be a blight on the neighborhood.

Another article to read...
http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/condobl ... l-tower-health-risks.html

and
http://www.anticelltowerlawyers.com/links/expert-studies.html

Lastly, it will likely decrease home values in the area. Most sensible people would not want to live very close to that kind of equipment.

Well, personally, I am offended by the JW people facing me down every day in an environment that I believe should be free from religion. The separation of Church and State matters a lot to me.

I realize they must have a permit, but does anyone know about PATH's policy on religious organizations? I feel that they should take their anti-gay apocalyptic message elsewhere.

Why spend 18 million on a bridge when there's a perfectly good route that we could pave over and use right away?

Bedbugs are back!

Man shows up in Hudson County courtroom 'covered in bed bugs'

A section of the Hudson County Administration building had to be sprayed for bed bugs yesterday after a man appeared for court covered in the blood-feeding insects.

Parts of the top floor of the building, which houses a section of the Hudson County Superior Court, had to be sprayed by an outside contractor that works for the county, county spokesman Jim Kennelly said.

The spraying, which took place between 3:30 and 4:30 yesterday afternoon, occurred in rooms 900 and 902, as well as moldings in the hallway outside the two rooms, two outer offices and a nearby bathroom, Kennelly said.

Superior Court closes at 4:30 p.m.

An attorney familiar with the incident said it began when a man appeared for court, "covered in bed bugs."

However, an employee in the Superior Court maintains only one bed bug was found on the man, who was appearing for drug court.

There was no word on whether there were any evacuations or if the court was out of session, and it is not known what happened to the man accused of bring the pests to court.

That's a funny name for the place, "Cast Iron". It sounds like they want to make it sound strong, but I saw the place go up and it seemed to be made with home depot style cinder blocks.

If the pipeline explodes, that building looks like it would be demolished.

I certainly would never live there, and would steer any friends far away from there.

Menendez also has a sex scandal brewing:

http://gawker.com/5956752/neighbor-ne ... g-lady-every-night-loudly

"it went on for months-hours and hours of headbanging sex"

"They were always in like four-inch heels, and it was definitely a different one every time. Different women on back-to-back nights. These were very young, very attractive women."

Something tells me he'll be in for a partial term before resigning.

I think I figured it out.

Don't underestimate the first posters. First post often means a longtime lurker who is finally disgusted enough to speak up.

Who is Dan running against? Is it only Candice Osbourne? She seems like a good person with good intentions.

I'll take young blood and inexperience over someone who has given up on reform and joined forces with the ringleader of JC corruption.

I was one of the 300 or so people that voted for Levin before, mostly on his anti-Healy platform. I don't know anything else about him. I don't follow politics. I just hate corruption. So, now that he's pro-Healy, he's not getting my vote again.

I might sound like a troll, but I'm being honest.

Also, One-ball, you sound like a lunatic calling everyone out to reveal themselves and claiming conspiracy. There's no conspiracy. Everyone is independently turned off by Levin's flip-flop.

Is he the next Soloman Dwek?

If so, I might have to change my mind about him

If he spoke to her about leaving her dog poop and then she threatened him with her dog and got in his face like a Snooki, it would be understandable for him to punch her.

It would always be better to avoid violence. But she might have pushed it to happen.

The guy was probably a cop or ex-military with a short temper. Maybe it happened as she says, but I'll reserve judgment until there's proof.

The Korean war memorial is for Americans not Koreans. You don't know that he was Polish or Russian and not American. You don't know that she was not the one who instigated the violence. There's another side to this story. People don't usually assault others for no good reason.
