DHS is walk-in, main building 6-9pm. Rooney is not affiliated with the school but with BoE or JC Rec. He has had some health issues but pretty sure its ongoing.

Have not tried any of the open gyms listed below, but am curious to. When does Grace Church do it? Every weeknight or only certain nights? Same with Dickinson?
Dickinson is every weekday.

Mike Rooney runs an informal league inside Dickinson HS(main bldg) from 6 to 9pm weekdays. You can bring a team or just come and he will work you in.

Do any of you use Horizon Blue Cross or Oxford, and would you recommend them? I'm looking for a competent, reasonably responsive carrier that serves New Jersey.

I've been paying AmeriHealth for the past year, but I can't stand them. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. At the moment, they're trying to deny me coverage for a hernia operation, which is frustrating. But every experience with AmeriHealth has been frustrating - even the simple act of paying a bill over the phone has taken more than an hour.
Most important is their in-network coverage. HorizonBC has a healthy list of participants. You get what you pay for and it seems they must pay the providers fairly.

An early morning fatal accident took out a pole on Baldwin Ave near St. Joseph's church. Several local roads are/were? blocked off creating a cluster of traffic throught the Hilltop.

I've seen the train to NYC, PACKED leaving JoSq before 7am on a recent saturday. A few were left standing at Grove and Pavonia. If it starts in Marion I will consider walking down there just to get in.

Healy was as shifty as an outhouse rat with his appointments that were all 'clouded' or influenced by favors.
Except that she wasn't appointed by Healy, in fact she survived through 5 mayors. Hopefully the new lady will have half Maryanne's dedication.

King(201-798-8100) is the biggest fleet, and they share a dispatcher with some of the other squads. I have, however, been told that, "we don't have anyone in that area," several times from different locations. I think there is a pet ambulance. Check with your vet.

The original JC Colgate clock is in Indiana, across the river from Louisville. It is smaller than the one we have now(40' vs 50'). It was moved in early 1900's. They are now debating what to do with it since there are no more Colgate plants left in the US. This clock can be seen in the movie The Insider when Al Pacino and Russell Crowe are talking in the car.

Besides JFK the only other one runs from Hudson Mall, south on Marin, west on Newark, up Pavonia, north on Summit, east on Newark, north on Palisades(FROM HERE NOT SURE), and reverse. EDIT: not aware of the Greenville one "user" refers to.

I'm sure GSB runs an honest operation. No one has ccused them of fencing stolen property. Just in case whatever circumstance caused the appearance of his bike may recur, I would browse there. Rodney certainly deserves any benefit of doubt. Hope that's clear.

Your bikes may turn up at local bike stores. A friend found his at Grove Street Bicycles. They only charged him $50, which is probably the cost of a tuneup.

Those bikes look well-worn and are of poor quality. Doubt they've been stolen. I do have a friend who has bought his stolen bike back from Grove Street Bicycles. If you've had a decent bike stolen, might want to check there.

Not always. Many pubs, including the TK, offer a "continetntal pint" of 20oz. Their happy hour size isn't even a full US pint, at 14oz. Still a steal during happy hour.

The JC Tilted Kilt has $1 domestic drafts 3-7 weekdays. Not a full 20oz pint but still a bargain. Not sure if Hoboken does the same.

So I walked in last night just after midnight with a slice from the next door pie-slinger. I made sure it was ok to walk into the bar with the pizza. It wasn't ok with the manager, though. He wasn't even happy to discuss the downstairs Speakeasy. I finished the slice anyway and ordered some pricey drinks. Then a pie was delivered for the two chicks at the end of the bar. Whatever. No towels or hand dryers in the unmarked restrooms. I'll give it another try someday.

DMac inside the field house where you register to play they have the man's business card who gives lessons. I was going to call him but never got around to it. Some injuries have kept me off the court but let me know if you try him.
