Hmmm aren't airlines privately run? If I want to have a bodyguard in my bar that pats people down to check for guns (yes, this has previously happened to me before entering a club) I can do that. If they choose not to be patted down, they do not enter. Simple.

While I am generally all about my constitutional rights being honored, I also realize that flying is a privilege and not a right.

I would also support this. There is only one other bar I know of in town that I am able to go and listen to live music and salsa dance!

Also, Jersey City has it's own recycled bag business: www.bagthehabit.com and I noticed they are on this week's Make My City http://www.makemycity-jc.com/deals with discounts.

GrovePath, please clarify. Are you suggesting the "Naked Cowboy" robbed $4,000 from Capital One in Jersey City yesterday?

I am not interested in destroying anyone's life.
And I know there are always exceptions, such as the McMartin story. Hence why I stated "highly doubt".
I very much hope this man did not do what he is being accused of.

tell that to the McMartins.

McMartin Preschool Trial

and of course, while the investigation is underway, keep this man away from children. arrest him. follow the law. but can we wait to completely destroy his life until after a conviction?

In all seriousness, can't they be set out for trash on trash night? I would think that after being removed from BJ's (et al) lot and the company not picking them up, they become trash.

Something similar happened to me...

When I first moved to JC and took my dog to the vet to get her annual shots, I got the rabies shot for free.
They gave me the registration information but I did not follow through since I had never had to register my dog in the other places I have lived.

A couple months later there was a warrant for my arrest delivered to my apartment and I had to go to court and explain the situation and pay the fee.

It was a hassle of course and definitely scared me that they would actually arrest me for not registering my dog in the city, but I did learn a lesson. Well...a few.

Anyhow, I guess the moral of the story is that it is easier to obey the JC law and register your dog before becoming a criminal :D
