Does the PA have an official website where you can download an application form? The one I found online at getnj.com is from a third-party website.

This link is to the official Jersey City website. Just be aware that the fee for residents is now $15.00 not $10.00. Good Luck!

About 10 years ago I had a guy busted for breaking into cars on my street. When he got out of jail about 2 years later he got a job with the JCPA thanks to his Dad, the Rev. Colon, and his political connections. Needless to say that didn't last once the papers got hold of the story.

How many cops did the city make him put on the payroll? They managed to chase Law and Order away a few years ago by squeezing them with the " you're gonna need 6 cops to shoot there" crap.

I just walked past Pavonia and Coles St. and counted 37 Police Cars, 14 Fire Engines and 3 Swat Teams. There is an 11 year old kid holed up in a brownstone with a loaded SuperSoaker. May God help us all.

I don't see the beauty in stuff like the fence on Erie around 4th street where someone spray painted "Honky Begone". It's been there a while.

I imagine if someone spray painted a swastika, or a racist term for any other group of people, it would cause some sort of hue and cry and get removed, no?

I saw that "Honky Begone" grafitti and I left. I guess that incantation worked!!!

I moved back in June and cancelled my Comcast account at my old apartment. 4 months later they were still "fishing" for me to make payments on the account even after I contacted them again. They gotta get there sh-t together.

I saw that a new Garbage Can Depot is opening on Tonnelle Ave. They have "new" and "used" cans. Trade-ins too.
