Re: Report those who have not shoveled their properties

The residents of the Heppenheimer on the corner of Jersey and Montgomery are clearly overpaying for building maintenance. The very long sidewalk bordering the building on both streets is never shoveled. Walking in the middle of Montgomery Street with the cars is safer than the sidewalk. And yes, I reported it.

Carrino/Talde also plan to use the courtyard in nice weather for films/dining. Would you want to be upstairs listening to that?

You don't have to believe in a higher power to understand the bond, the promise, the commitment that keeps people together during the highs and lows. Whether or not my husband and I believe what Yvonne believes, our marriage is a sacrament -- a strong place for us and our children.

So just cut the crap.

And yes, happiness doesn't sell TV shows.

Dinner at Osteria in the back. The agnolotti cacciatore were stellar. I can't believe I wiped the plate with the rosemary bread.

jcdd, I'm not sure what DanL said that you find objectionable, but I believe that Dan's two children are still in the JC public school system.

I've been told that Kitchen needs building approval for the wind vestibule as they don't own the spot...and they keep asking....

The lack of wind barrier has been an issue since November and has been pointed out as a problem on several occasions. I'm amazed they've done nothing about this yet.

Bought a small container of mixed olives, marcona almonds, orange zest in olive oil. Really good-- especially with the bread from BROA!

Boy, what a wealth of choices we have DT.

Ate at Broa last night. Enjoyed the fritters and croquettes, octopus salad, scallops, etc. The veal/chorizo croquettes may have been my favorites. The space is, as said below, much prettier than I would have ever expected. BYO and closed on Tuesdays. He will start opening for lunch soon.

Nice addition to the neighborhood. Hubby and I ate well for $38 before tip.

Anything that allows more people to get to the polls is a good thing while costing the city less. Consolidating dates is one measure that I think will get people to the polls.

Another example -- Did anyone really think we should have spent $12 million to elect Booker in October so as not have had him on the ballot on November?

Consumed, you pay school taxes for the same reason that people who don't have cars pay for highway improvement. Figure it out.
