Hi, I received letter from Suez water to replace the water meter else they will shut off the water and there will be fine. The house is very old and the shut off valve on street side of meter does not work and needs to be replaced. I called suez and they told me there is nothing they can do and plumber needs to freeze the water line and then replace the valve. I doubt anyone will be able to do that. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Try these folks, it can be a big job Suez is prolly telling you need a new lead from the main to your house.

Sept 9,2017:

Boggiano really stood out today
during the JSQ debate held at the Loews Theatre.

Of the 3 candidates present he was able to fully articulate his
positions and asserted why he should remain the Ward C councilman.

Fulop walked out early of the event as realized his option was more adept at coughing loudly into his lapel microphone than making any sort of relevant presence.

Reka Nandwani was sadly more concerned it seemed with the candidates remaining seated during the debate and left nothing more than a mere smudge on her political aspirations.

Any ironworks place will do this for less than a locksmith who just come and measure and have an ironworks place fabricate them.

Phone: (201) 333-2300

Also you can go cheaper and buy baby gates from home cheapo
and screw them into the window frame yourself using 4inch screws - not a great idea if thats your fire escape route.

I gave Pampita Meat Shop on Central Ave a try. I picked up a rib-eye, blood sausage, and some pork sausage.

The rib-eye was 5 star restaurant grade quality (wet aged). It was melt in mouth tender. Expensive though.. a single 2 inch thick rib-eye set me back about $40. Unfortunately, this is too pricey for my budget to buy on a regular basis.

Got the blood sausages in the broiler right now, cooking for lunch.

They also carry imported grass fed beef.

Yun foots the bill to keep his office open and readily accessible to his constituents - he gets props for that. Don't think Kinberg is gonna fare so well in this election, perhaps she can move back to Ohio. Quote:
Kinberg, 37, called Yun a hypocrite, noting that the councilman provides constituent services out of a Central Avenue office that doubles as his campaign headquarters. "That's very questionable," she said.

Jersey City pulls political promotion of Fulop ally off city website

Jersey City pulled an item off the city website yesterday that promoted a political meet-and-greet intended to boost the chances of one of Mayor Steve Fulop's council candidates.

The event was listed on the taxpayer-funded cultural affairs calendar as a community barbecue hosted from noon to six today by Mo Kinberg (the calendar entry spelled her name "Kingsberg").

On her Facebook page, Kinberg, who with Fulop's support is seeking to unseat Ward D Councilman Michael Yun in November, promoted the event as a meet-and-greet alongside ads for her candidacy and Fulop's.

I'd walk like I used to, but I have a kid now and you just can't stroller those things for 2 miles and expect your evening to be ok.

Shit's on fire, yo.

The Blvd has been bad for ages and with the Anal Reaming construction job that is Observer Hwy fuhgeddaboudit.

Montgomery Street by City Hall is green -red- green all the way up and down.

Can't be the county in control of that clusterfuk as well.
