By employing Flood II, Flood I has completed the first plank of her platform. Looks like the next plank will require the city to subsidize her house. Watch for it.

The victim -- whose first name is Manuel -- refused to answer further questions from police, reports said.

But then, when he was shown the shell casing with "Manuel" etched in it, he broke down and admitted that the bullet must have been meant for him. "Who else could it be meant for?" he asked. "Manuel is a very unusual name in my country." Manuel has just arrived in America from his native land of Pakistan.

I've seen those guys. They travel in a pack. And they really are strange. Fortunately the majority of PATH riders fall within a spectrum that would be classified as normal.

Not to worry. Your promoting gambling on a bulletin board is completely within the law. These guys were promoting gambling in a gambling casino, which is just plain wrong.

People ought to know that, if they're going to sell drugs on a quiet residential sidewalk in Jersey City, someone is at least going to yell at them and issue tickets from time to time. In other words: it ought to be tougher to sell heroin on the sidewalk here than it is for a bagel place to get permission to let people eat bagels at outside tables.

The idea that it's almost as hard for Subia's to have open air dining as it is for dealers to deal a few yards around the corner is intolerable.

I agree. The trouble with JC cops is that, when confronted with brazen drug sellers, they don't yell at them and issue tickets, at least on occasion. A little bit of that would go a long way to reestablishing JCPD authority.

And I think someone should keep a close eye on this open-air dining issue at Subia's. Once they get a foot in the door on that sort of thing, it's hard to put the genie back in the bottle, so to speak.

Yeah, well it's been 5 years since I last picked up a cue in open league competition, but I'm sure I could still kick YOR butt! Straight pool, call pocket only, all balls pocketed not called are spotted, 14 to 1 continuous till 144 points scored. Any table in Jersey City. Let me know when and where.

New Jersey hasn't seen this kind of action since Hamilton-Burr in 1804. Hope you guys are gonna sell tickets, cause I'm there!

There's nothing I hate more than unreasonable sea levels. If the sea wants to be seen as a reliable partner in Jersey City's development, I think it should pick a level and stick with it. If the sea can't hold up its end of the bargain, we should call in the Army Corps of Engineers and start building levees. I hear those boys do good work.

When high sea levels result in sewage in your apartment, sea levels get your serious attention, not a chuckle. The city is already in the process of reducing property values by reconsidering C of O's for garden apartments.

Ewww! Well there are sea levels and there are c--- levels. Don't think the Army Corps of Engineers can help you with that shit.

A large group of trash cans were caught trying to enter Mexico illegally last night. Many were branded with addresses; some from as far away as Jersey City, NJ. When questioned by authorities, they claimed that they were fed up with conditions north of the border. They were forced to work long hours in smelly conditions with no shelter from the weather.

"It just became intolerable", said one, "We're only aluminum!"
