So how many jobs is this project going to create????

Will they be "green jobs"?

love how they proponents say it is in one small spot... that just happens to have the best view of the city... they should put the memorial in a section of the park that will draw more people away from the congested area... this will utuilze the park/space in a more efficent allowing people view the city... some area like that grassy knoll on heading south after Ellis Bridge, but before the preserve conservation wetlands. It already gives them the elevation they need.

the brain washing is already happening... that is why there has been a dramatic increase with people are buying guns all over the NJ / country... Enforce the laws... you have an illegal gun...you go to jail.... you use any gun to commit a crime... you do more time... kill/maim...enjoy your life at Rahway!

Trambone.... first they came for the smokers.... and then they came for the guns owners next... aren't there plenty of laws for the illegal use of guns on the books... let's just enforce them... kinda like the nonsmoking laws... except in some bar's I think the city inspectors (re:Healy) are paid to ignore the violations

what ever was going on down there... some one was definitely pissed at the kid who got hit 6X... doesn't say how many guns / shooters were involved but either they were real bad / nervous shooters, accidentlly hitting him where they did or they were trying to maim the kid with two ankle wounds and putting one in his butt for good measure... a lot of bullets going in one direction, can't believe they didn't finish the job...

It isn't exactly a ghost town... there are some nightclubs in that area... I try to stay away from them when I am walking home from PATH becuase of the groups of people loitering in the streets (@2:00am)... just do not need the potential hassle... not saying these dopes were part of that crowd... but it was a nice night and I can see people walking down to waterfront, especially if they were underage and couldn't get into club with friends... I am always amazed that I do not see police in the area with the size of the crowds... it just looks like trouble @2:00am

This Vas Stuff is just incredible.... talk about a sense of self entitlement... all these politician's think thier little fiefdom's are thier own piggy banks...

They throw a block party or go to a ribbon cutting for a new resturant in Greenville; that is the change we can see, while they cover up or refuse to acknowledge the drug violence and street crime that keep good people locked up in thier homes at night...

Just keep the system lubricated with illegal contribution money so the propaganda machine producing reports about the quality of life in JC.

When I look at some of these photo ops... I get reminded of a police lineup... just an amazing state; pay to play anywhere else is public corruption

This was Steve Fulop's guy a couple years back for Congress... I believe Vas carried Ward E only

Guess we know why Steve went independent....

This state is just so dirty and corrupt... everyone of the these politician's are dirty... Can't wait to see what happens when Obama' Stimulus Kiss to Hudson County starts pouring in...

The Federal Prosecutor's Office might as well start writing out the indictments; just leave the name blank for indicted and unindicted co-conspirators... Who do you think they will flip first?

The money will disappear faster than what Obama is pouring into the Middle East / Pakistan... Imagine what the Hudson County Pol's could extort if they had nukes?

Just remember... this is all for the children

Now that the Mayor has his mandate of 15,000 voter... get ready to see the largest tax hike, blowing away the 18% from 3 years ago, that Jersey City has ever seen... they were drooling over the 47% hike in Hoboken!
