Re: Jersey City cop alleges retaliation for targeting deli 'connected' to police chief, mayor

So now that the bike lanes were officially painted yesterday (5/14/14) on Mallory Ave running past Carmine's deli, when will we see some enforcement.
I still saw double parked cars everywhere parked on these bike lanes at about 1PM yesterday.
Who's going to enforce this, Parking Authority or JCPD?
Then when they are done, they can take a ride down to Bennett & ticket all them cars parked since the entire street says No Parking. Its all the cars from the dealership!

It would be nice if one of them could take a stroll in front of Carmine's on Mallory Ave and start ticketing all the cars double parked in the bike lane.

Keep us posted, let's see how long before something is done.
I've used the emergence responce app also myself & the only thing I don't like is where it asks u to put an address & that's whole page is a little screwed up from me using it on my phone.
No I don't have an Iphone but I hope that's not the prob.
Thx

This area is very dangerous with all the double parked cars, espically around "lunchtime". Yes, a lot of the cars are JCPD & JCFD, how do these enforcement vehicles have to right to double park along with huge hook & ladder fire trucks! There is no emergency going on, just purchasing food & eating inside. Now they are painting a bike lane on Mallory Ave, how will they enforce the double parked cars now?
There is plenty or parking right around the corner on Williams Ave.
Another problem spot is on Bennett Street with all the cars parked illegally where there are signs that clearly state NO PARKING!
How is Bill O'Dea & "Chico" and also Steve Fulop going to take care of these problems!!!

I'm sure they have some leads but didn't move in yet.
There's cameras everywhere down that area.
They are just waiting to get all the evidence together to have for court & they will get these guys soon!

Re: Fake Parking Tickets
Home away from home
Home away from home

I really got a fake ticket about 3 or 4 weeks ago it started.
I got one of them appear notices in the mail, it stated that I failed to pay or go to court.
The ticket was suposedly written & left on Montgomery street for a no parking between such & such time.
Only this is, I turned thos plates into DMV about 10 years ago.
I'm sure I got a receipt for the plates that were turned in but I have no clue where that was.
DMV is stating I never turned them plates in.
I went to Parking Authority to get a copy of the ticket they wrote & it wasn't even for my vehicle, not even close. It didn't even come close to what I used to have them plates on.
DMV told me go to Newark for an abstract & a notorized letter stating I turned them plates in & about when they were turned over.
I did go to court finally & I told the judge my story. I brought my registration to the vehicle I own & a copy of what the parking authority crooks wrote up.
The judge asked if I owned what was on the ticket, I told him no & it was DISMISSED!
Sucks I had to go thru all that troubble cause the parking authority likes to play games with these plates.
I don't think it was a simple "8" that got mistaken for a "B" or something like that with this case.

guilty, well it could have been me , i enjoy it, ii take photos here and there , i think its cool, yes its illegal, disturbing to some but, I've learned to live with it, if these kids are taking their time out to paint rather than mug me then I'm fine with it, some are actually really great artists, I've heard of Kaws who has made a well living off of starting out by doing graffiti, its a different art form, admire it people, decipher it? you only live once, understand why, ..instead of being upset about it all the time, hell, pick up a can, and leave a message behind , 20 or more years later, you might still be talked about on a daily basis.. wouldn't you like to be remembered

art is great and all so.. why don't you send me your address and i'll show you how great my art is?

make sense yet?

why not post it here so we could all see how good you are.. or are not!

I hope u got the plate # or the ID number on that machine.
I woulda called it into the JCIA or beter yet the JCPD.
More importantly, was it driving slow enough to actually clean the streets & pick stuff up.
They are usually flying by missing everything in its path!
Not like they used to be years ago when they drove slow & actually cleaned the street!

Pre-k is just an excuse to dump your kids off.
I went to kindergarden when I was at that age & now they starting school 2 years sooner for what...to get your kids ready to be on their own.
Its the governments way to get the kids prepared to be away from the parents at a early age.
And also to get the unecessary shots, they are full of poison to get the body prepared for the worst to happen & contain that RDIF chip that they implant without us knowing or our concent.

Re: Car towed for snow removal. WTF Jersey City.
Home away from home
Home away from home

Wow, what a joke.
I saw on mallory & clarke just now & watched them remove snow.
The street wasn't closed off & traffic was flowing while the operator of the big CAT machine seemed like he was still in training operating this machine.
It took him atleast 25min to scoop up about 3 loads of snow/ice & wait for traffic & everything before he dumped the snow into an awaiting dumpster truck.
There was another guy trying to stop traffic from one end but that wasn't working well & on the other end looked like another truck with strobes but no cars were stopped so this amateur can remove the snow.
If they put a crew out there that knew what they were doing, I'm sure they coulda did all of mallory in about 2hrs.
I guess this is why its taking a few days.

They need to pay more attention to them GPS devices & figure why every morning there are at least 10 city trucks on Westside ave between Virginia & Clarke having breakfast on tax payers time & money!!!
I think they should be out there plowing snow the last few days!!!

Just saw they were dumping some snow down off 440 in that lot that I mentioned.
Just wish they would clean up more of the corners & the smaller streets in the west.

Hey Steve...what the #OOPS# is going on!!!
Everywhere on this side of town sucks with the snow.
Everywhere below westside from communipaw ave to past clarke looks like a plow hasent passed since it started to snow!!!
Who cares about the salt cause its all slushy in the streets, get a damn plow or borrow some from NYC to clear the streets while the sun is out & its geting softer.
Its gon freese up again later.
Dump the snow where they usually do on the other side of 440 where the old diner was by the bridge off Communipaw.
I know they used to dump it in the river.
There's a lot of open land to dump the snow.

Hey Steve, how about u send out some of the heavy equip & clean the major roads then have some smaller trucks clear the corners & some of the sidestreets where there are no cars during the day.
Too much damn snow & ice!!!
Lots of icy corners still that haven't been shoveled or salted.

How many seats were unsold to the Super Bowl? It looked like a full house.
Not like that Liberty Park concert last week, that was pathetic.
There was noone there.
There was tons more security there then who went to see the concert.
The fireworks were really nice tho along with the earmuffs & handwarmers :)

I was there & the concert was ok.
The fireworks were really nice.
They did give out Superbowl ear warmers & handwarmers which were pretty cool.
It was really slippery standing there watching the concert on frozen snow/ice.
There was def more security there than spectators.
Maybe if this got more promotion, more people would of attended.
