Wondering if anyone has used Valley National for their mortgage or to refinance. They have a pretty straightforward $499 flat-fee refinancing package, but I'm wondering what the application process was like (i.e. do they lose documents, take forever for the appraisal, etc?). Also, what is their customer service is like afterwards for loan servicing (any escrow issues/problems?).
