That was the worst torture I've endured in years. By the 5th trip, I was doubting I'd make it home.

But definitely worth it. A few more weeks of that and my dream goal of dunking again might even be possible...

If you are looking for a challenge, try using the down escalators to walk up on.

I was going to suggest Exchange Place too. I'll never forget, one night, I was there and the escalator was out of order. It took me a half-hour to climb those stairs, and it completely kicked my butt. The whole time I kept thinking, "Maybe I should go back down and take the PATH to somewhere with less stairs." But it was late at night, and I had to do it. Man, am I lazy, or what?

Better yet - try racing someone UP the Down escalator at the Exchange Place PATH station. Of course, it's not a good idea during rush hour....I tried it once on a Friday evening after drinking a few shots of Vodka and trust me - it was hard as heck (or at least it seemed like it was )

Thanks, FAB - I searched a bit and thought about PATH stations, but have never gotten off there - only Grove & Newport.

Tonight seems good for some suffering.

I replied to a similar request before. Make your way to the Exchange Place PATH station and use the stairs there.
I'm fcuking exhausted and have a nose bleed just using the escalators there, and need air at the top of those steep mothers.

Hi - I've been running myself back into shape for tennis, basketball, etc and was wondering if there's anyplace near downtown to run stairs... gym machines just aren't the same.

Anybody have suggestions? Maybe a high school field or stairs? I've been using the track at Ferris High so far, but need to mix in some serious pain.
