40 days after the Nativity of Our Lord, and the absolute end of the Christmas season (the Poles keep their Christmas trees up until today which seems dangerous). Also tied to Groundhog's Day and, therefore, in a way, to the Bill Murray movie.

Anyway, bring your candles to be blest before the candlelight procession and hear the Nunc Dimittis be sung as this ancient feast is celebrated tonight at Our Lady of Sorrows (Corner of Clairemont and Ocean, with off street parking across from the Church). The Music program includes the following.

P: Let Zion's bridal-room be clothed (Creator Alme Siderum tune) - Program
Lumen ad revelationem, Chant (w/ optional fauxbourdon verses by schola)
Mass IX and Credo IV
O: Alma Redemptoris by Palestrina CB 537
C: Ave Vera Virginitas by Desprez CB 88
Alma Redemptoris Chant - Program
R: Hail Holy Queen SG #83
