There still is (was) street sweeping on the Jewish Holidays. At least at Temple Beth-El you can get a flyer to place in your car saying that you are observing at the Temple and they are not supposed to ticket you. It only applies to the blocks right around Beth-El. I do not know if the other synagogues have that but I would assume they would.
