When a car burglar made off with thousands of dollars in equipment two brothers use for their business, they did what most people would do: they went to the police.

But then they took matters into their own hands and looked to harness the power of social media to find the culprit.

Mitchell Lacsamana, 25, a former Jersey City resident, and younger brother Mike launched a social media campaign after having more than $7,000 of equipment stolen from their friend?s car at the corner of Columbus and Jersey Avenue on June 9.
