"Investigators from the Jersey City Police Department had asked the NYPD to aid them in the search for an individual, who was believed to be staying at the apartment, before the bust went down. When officers arrived, a different man answered the door and allowed them to come in ? despite there being large amounts of pot sitting around in plain sight, police said. It didn?t take long for cops to spot the reefer ? prompting them to arrest the man and two others who were with him."

NYPD, Jersey City cops searching for suspect stumble upon 100 pounds of pot, $1M in Brooklyn apartment raid
BY LAURA DIMON NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Sunday, October 29, 2017, 9:09 PM NYPD officers assisting Jersey City cops in a search that led to Brooklyn found themselves in a drug den with nearly $1 million in cash and 100 pounds of marijuana. The finest were helping the New Jersey police track down a man wanted on arson and terroristic threat charges, authorities said. The joint forces went, with a search warrant, cops said, to the Crown Heights apartment on Montgomery St. near Schenectady Ave. at about 10 p.m. Friday. They arrested Humphrey Olivio, 36, Yazmin Olivio, 30, and Jose Pichardo, 24, on charges including criminal possession of marijuana and criminal sale of marijuana.
