A 19-year-old Jersey City teenager was shot dead last night in the Greenville section of the city, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez confirmed.

Javonte Galbreath was pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health at around 9:10 p.m., approximately one hour after he was shot in the mid-section near the corner of Winfield and Ocean avenues, according to Suarez.
