NJ Transit announced it will host a public meeting Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. in the Board Room of its Newark headquarters.

The purpose of the NJ Transit meeting is to discuss various issues regarding its transportation service and how that impacts its users across New Jersey.

The meeting will feature the Board of Directors for NJ Transit Corp., NJ Transit Rail Operations, Inc., NJ Transit Bus Operations, Inc., NJ Transit Mercer, Inc., and NJ Transit Morris, Inc.

NJ Transit's Headquarters Building is located at One Penn Plaza East, Newark.
