Cops: Man stalks Hoboken teen on train, then exposes himself

A 28-year-old New York man exposed, then fondled himself in front of a Hoboken teenager on the PATH train during rush hour, said officials.


On Tuesday at roughly 4 p.m., Ivan Garzon, of Maybrook, N.Y. was charged with stalking and public lewdness, said Port Authority Police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.

"Officers were approached inside the 9th Street PATH Station in Manhattan by the 17-year-old Hoboken victim," said Pentangelo. "She told officers that a male had exposed himself to her and fondled himself on the moving PATH train."

Pentangelo said the victim walked to another train car to get away from Garzon but he followed her and continued his lewd behavior.

The victim alerted police and Garzon was placed under arrest without incident, said Pentangelo.
