No demo - that's what the owner wanted to do (but the city didn't.) So he is finally selling.
Butler Brothers will be as is. I heard, but not confirmed that they plan on making the windows larger, but that will be the extent of the changes. Obviously they will have to make drastic alterations to the ground level to make it approachable from all three sides. I can't wait for the basement to be cleaned out - it seems to be filled with water from Superstorm Sandy.
No timeline known by me, but completion of the sale is the first step.

350 Warren St, aka Butler Brothers building was recently in front of planning board asking for some adjustments to redevelopment plan - permission given and sale of the building is supposed to happen - it will be redeveloped over the coming years.

Thanks!
Any ideas about the details of the redevelopment plan - whether it will be demolished and rebuilt to a tower or converted as is? What's the timeline?

Is there some place online where one can look up info like this?

Two questions to those who might know -

1. Any idea what's happening at 111 First? The pile of rubble is finally getting moved. Is that going to be a rental tower as well?

Never noticed that before!

2. This is 350 Warren St - Morgan Industrial Center. Any idea what's planned for this building? Looks like a prime candidate for loft conversion. Why isn't anyone doing that?

Sadly... it is very boring. I actually like the Toll Brother Provost Square design by SLCE but i'm not sure when that is ever going to happen.
