Expect huge crowd for free wash and dry at Laundry Factory in Jersey City

For the second time in two weeks, Laundry Factory in Jersey City will be offering one free wash and dry to anyone who walks through the door.

Located at 125 East 18th St., the store will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, Feb. 13, and along with the free wash is offering refreshments and a coupon book to whoever shows up.

"We want to do something special for the community, especially with the economy being the way it is," said Alex Katzman, chief operating officer of Laundry Factory.

The store had previously offered the free wash on Jan. 30 and nearly 350 people took advantage of the deal, Katzman said.

"We have been preparing our staff for the past month to make sure we can handle the traffic. I think the facility will run smoothly, and the turnout will be even better," he added.
