they have carnivals in the park at least twice a year.. once in the spring and once later in the summer. a few decent rides, food, etc... nothing too fancy but a fun diversion. do yourself a favor and go early in the evening or afternoon, as it can get a bit rowdy later on at night. i remember i took my girlfriend on one of our first dates there and a huge fight of 20-30 kids broke out.. not very romantic, lol.
