Models seem to be agreeing on a miss of the NYC metro area with landfall between Maine and Nova Scotia.
Lee will weaken to a cat 1 as it moves north but widen significantly. WeatherBell guys say it is going to be a 300 mile wide storm hitting Cape Cod with near hurricane conditions.

More of the models shift Lee's path west. The latest GFS (USA) model shows a rough day for Boston & Cape Cod.

Past model have shown Lee taking a hard turn to the North before reaching the east coast. This is depending on if a storm forming over the upper mid west moves east fast enough to pull Lee out to sea.
The latest run of the Euro shows that not happening. The other model re-run later today. Right now the Euro shows some not so nice weather on the 17th. Early model runs.. subject to change..
