Not only was he hurt by this woman (all caught on camera), his bike was destroyed and he can't do his job! That is outrageous. I hope he sues her into the stone age. She could at least offer to buy him a new bike, she can well afford it on her income, the fact she lives in an income-restricted apartment building meant for people earning less than $60,000 (she earns over three times that) AND she apparently doesn't pay her vet bills or traffic tickets! What the hell? She's like former Mayor Healy all over again. The rules that apply to the rest of us just don't apply to her. Appauling. Rot in hell (or at least prison) Ms. DeGise!

Hit-and-run victim calls for Jersey City councilwoman’s resignation, says he’s considering lawsuitThe man thrust into spotlight when he was struck by Jersey City Councilwoman-at-Large Councilwoman Amy DeGise in a hit-and-run last week says DeGise’s decision to leave the scene shows she is unfit to hold office. “Anybody can make a mistake,” 29-year-old Andrew Black told The Jersey Journal Thursday, “but a hit-and-run is a felony.” (Hit-and-runs can be either misdemeanors or felonies in New Jersey, depending on whether they cause injury. In this case, DeGise has not been charged with a felony offense.) https://www.nj.com/hudson/2022/07/hit- ... -considering-lawsuit.html
