I know exactly what you're referring too, and it's terrible. I've gone out look for the source on more than one occasion, and keep ending up right in front of the construction on York between Grove and Barrow (more towards Barrow). I'm not super close to that construction, and can hear it, so I can't imagine it's not driving people right on that block crazy...

For the past two weeks there's been a late night alarm (sounds like a fire alarm or smoke detector) going off around the south-east corner of Van Vorst Park. Anybody who lives in the area is surely familiar with what I'm talking about as it's loud enough to be heard through closed windows. Does anybody have any insight as to its origins? I've spoken with several neighbors who are equally as perplexed as to where it may be coming from.
