This made the papers? Wow, I've seen a lot of "newsworthy" stuff in my nearly 3 decades in DTJC but stolen car tires? Wouldn't even warrant a sniff back in the day...

I personally two different people who had their Acura wheels stolen and the car left on cinder blocks, and the guys who did it are SUPER GOOD at it. They could easily work for a Nascar pit crew. Judging by the video of one of the incidents, all four wheels came off in a matter of minutes and none was the wiser, and they were brazen, doing it within earshot of apartments and a lobby entrance to a building. Welcome to Jersey City...
