You might find the above quote comes from a questionable source!

This article from the BBC (below) might enlighten you and other JClist readers.

Sweden report rape crimes totally differently to most western nations (THEY DON'T SUGAR COAT IT TO PAINT A BETTER PICTURE) ... If the US did the same, we would be No.1 by a long shot !

"In Sweden there has been this ambition explicitly to record every case of sexual violence separately, to make it visible in the statistics," she says.

"So, for instance, when a woman comes to the police and she says my husband or my fiance raped me almost every day during the last year, the police have to record each of these events, which might be more than 300 events. In many other countries it would just be one record - one victim, one type of crime, one record."

http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-19592372

Even our own JCPD will 'fudge' the stats on crime to make things appear better then they actually are - Healy's administration where experts at it and it appears that Fulop's administration aren't that transparent either!

Top 10 rape crime nations :

The winner: Sth Africa

Runner up: Sweden

Third place : USA

I don't think we should jump for joy coming in at No.3 ... especially when we are VERY 'conscious' about who we let in the country ... comparing rape stats with immigration is baloney. I don't see too many MUSLIMS or MIDDLE EAST migrants moving to Sth Africa with their track record or rape numbers !

I don't see any middle east or muslim nation in Asia making the top 10 list !

Remember that Hillary has proposed to import 500% more of these Syrians to here.

Police arrest 900 Syrians in England and Wales for crimes including rape and child abuse

SHOCKING police figures released for England and Wales have shown nearly 900 Syrians have been arrested in just one year.

The kids thing is right on. The parents who brought the kids here will be happy to have their feet on stable ground once again. It's the kids who will have to absorb most of the slings and arrows of being the foreign kid at school and in the neighborhood. Those are the ones who end up getting "radicalized".

And keep in mind poverty has little to do with "radicalization," despite liberal lies. For one of many examples, the 18 year old teen who took the French parishioners hostage and slit the 86 year old priest's throat in front of everyone was born to a wealthy family.

France is the model for the future if we let too many of these "refugees" and Muslims in here. Their Prime Minister recently essentially said, get used to it. "France must learn to live with terrorism."

Since we are comparing CONTINENTS 'Europe', I'd bet / surmise that Americas as a continent, is far a bigger threat or problem to the world ... noting you have to include Central and South America which includes but not limited to all the gangs, drug cartels, people trafficking and black market weapon sales

Population of Continents: Europe 742.5 million
Americas 953.7 million

I think the troubling part about "terror" attacks, especially the recent spat of Islam related ones, is that unlike drug crimes which occur in much greater frequency, these attacks are entirely random.
If you want to avoid getting shot during a drug deal, you can significantly reduce your odds by not dealing drugs, not approaching drug dealers during a drug deal, and not standing around known locations for drug dealing.
In France if you want to avoid having a truck driven into you or getting your throat slit in church, or being shot at a concert, your choice is like, stay inside all the time I guess?

I think it's really important to keep the eyes on the prize and constantly remind people that terror attacks in general are no higher now than they were in the 60s or 70s, and that crime and murder are WAY down across the entire globe from just 20 years ago.
Still, the randomness of the recent attacks is what I think really freaks people out and even as a staunch progressive who believes everybody deserves to be treated on an individual basis, I'd be lying if I wasn't a little bit un-stoked on bringing in refugees from the Middle East.

I guess no news is good news on the first few families that arrived here though.

Many times it is their kids who are born here who cause problems, like the Boston Bombers. The solution is never to invite the problem here to begin with.

France is around 10% Muslim, that's why there are so many attacks.

Time to cut this percentage down a might considering this is a Catholic / Christian population majority.

Not bad...got a job, apartment, and enrolled the kid in school after enduring all sorts of hardship along the way. Some should take a lesson here.
