The 'RC' refers to the Regions Core. If this was so critical to the Feds they would've provided more funds to make sure 'Access' would be front and center. At no time did they-every cent of the inevitable billions of cost overruns (Big Boston Dig, Seattle Alaskan Bertha tunnel, NYC East Side tunnel) was on the shoulder of NJ taxpayers.

It is just this, not development/over development that Jersey City has to fear. Shutting down one of the two tunnels reduces capacity of 75%. The riders that will be diverted to the PATH will get on west of Jersey City in Harrison and Newark leaving little room for riders to get on in Jersey City AND as the articles says, there are no good solutions at hand.

Bingo! Our Democrat Senators have done almost nothing over many decades to bring us back some funding. Where was all the moaning when Corzine, McGreevey, Florio, and others were in Trenton?
