The Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) will host a new theatrical show exploring the theme of justice.

Merseles Studios, located at 339 Newark Ave. in Jersey City, will host two separate events ? "Conversations" today and "New Play Reading" on Tuesday.

In all, the unique Justice show combines public readings, art exhibitions and Q & A's between audiences, actors and artists in an effort to create a dialogue about important issues regarding violence and racial tensions within communities.

Organizers cited the controversial death of Eric Garner in Staten Island, shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., and the recent violence throughout Jersey City, as examples over why it is important to address these types of issues.
