New York Post By Zachary Weiss December 16, 2014 Jeffrey Deitch, back from his wild Miley Cyrus bash at Art Basel Miami, called on a coterie of arty friends Monday to escape Manhattan for Jersey City. ?What?s happening in the art world now is that people have no problem going to Brooklyn or Queens or Jersey City,? explained Deitch, who hosted a celebration of choreographer Karole Armitage?s Armitage Foundation at art center Mana Contemporary. ?It?s really opened up beyond Manhattan. There?s no barrier anymore.?
