I wonder if it's there all year around, or they just put there during xmas.

My favorite tree is the one in the PATH tunnel. It gets lit tomorrow or Friday. As I recall it can be seen right before the train gets to Newport from the left windows if you are facing the direction the train is moving. I have named that portion of track Lefrakefeller Centre.

If you look carefully you'll see the tree stays there, it is just not lit.

My thought is, if we are going to have a tree in one of the main squares/plazas in Jersey City ... why not have a bigger one? Grove Square is very large and open, so the small tree looks a little lost, and is certainly not a centerpiece.

If cost is the issue, I guess I understand, but I can't imagine it would break the bank to get a tree a bit larger.

I mean I appreciate having SOMETHING there, but it looks a little silly being so relatively small, IMO.

Talk to city hall to find out their requirements (safety, storage, electricity limitations).

Research available products.

Crowdfund. If the town wants, the town will pay.

I like the decorations and all but can we get a real tree or a better fake tree. The one that us up looks like astroturf.
