The best remarks were given by Dr. Frances O.Thompson a former board member and councilperson, she was one of the sponsor of the debate . Dr. Thompson said the board is about handing out contracts. She also said, the board was in charge of Dr. Lyles not the other way around.

Not really surprised. Joel was appointed to the school board a couple of years back and declined after he accepted. He said it was because someone told him too.

Anyone know why Joel Torres was a no-show?

Not exactly the kind of thing one would expect this close to the election...

I asked the organizer why that date was chosen. She said it was the only one the Board of Ed would give. This points to Dr. Lyles and her team. They are in charge of the school and could have given the NAACP a different date. By the way, Joel Torres, did not show up.

I don't know here names and wouldn't care to know their names. At the last debate they were rude and disruptive.

Could you name the union member that was disruptive because I didn't see that? The action was only on the stage with the candidates.

I went to the school debate at Ferris HS, Carol Harrison-Arnold lost her control and told someone in the audience "shut-up." I am sorry I did not have my camera.

I have no idea. This really was a terrible scheduling job.

I wonder which candidates will even show up.
