So, so true. It's a shame that so much stigma is associated with the acknowledgment and treatment of psychological and abuse problems; on top of the struggles of battling these issues, people are often left to also deal with that stigma, which makes it that much harder to accept the problem and seek help.

RIP, sad all around. Just shows the grip that depression and substance abuse has doesn't discriminate, rich or poor.

The youngest son of former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine - described as a "lost" soul who battled addiction - was found dead in a Mexico City hotel through a search initiated by his family, a well-placed source told the Daily News.

Jeffrey Corzine, 31, whose body was found in Mexico's largest metropolis "several days ago," had failed to respond to messages from his loved ones, the source said. The family launched a search that tracked him down by following his credit card usage, the source added.

It wasn't immediately clear how the aspiring photographer died, but a source familiar with the circumstances said Corzine took his own life Tuesday after suffering from severe depression for an extended period. His death, the source, added, was not the result of a drug relapse.

Another source confirmed that Jeffrey had long struggled with drugs and alcohol.
