Silly picture-equal pay is the law of the land, and anyone who believes the 78% number is plain stupid.

When you compare apples to apples (taking into account education, length of job experience, type of job (yes, oil riggers make more than kindergarten teachers) the difference is about 1%. And recent women graduates without children make more now than men in the same jobs.

Asians earn more than whites! Should we legislate their pay too? :)

NJ voters elected Christie knowing full well he was pro-family/life, no surprise there.

Hasn't it been reported he's given three different stories regarding the conversations he had at the 9/11 event with Christie and others?

Jersey City nonprofit at center of new Bridgegate claim

By Terrence T. McDonald | The Jersey Journal

JERSEY CITY — The Urban League of Hudson County is at the center of new allegations arising out of the so-called Bridgegate trial, with a former top aide to Gov. Chris Christie accusing Mayor Steve Fulop of seeking a $1.5 million grant for the nonprofit to keep state Sen. Sandra B. Cunningham out of the 2013 mayor's race.

Fulop and Cunningham have denied any knowledge of the alleged purpose of the grant, awarded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in February 2013. Both said they first learned of the allegation when they heard that David Wildstein, a former Port Authority executive, testified on Thursday that Fulop wanted the money to thwart a possible Cunningham mayoral bid.

Trump's son-in-law heaps praise on badass Bridgegate mastermind

Donald Trump?s son-in-law hailed Bridgegate mastermind David Wildstein as a ?badass? ? citing ?the move you pulled? ? one day after Wildstein quit the Port Authority amid the firestorm over the traffic-clogging scheme, a lawyer claimed in court Thursday.

Of course, he can say, a la Hillary, he 'can't remember', 'doesn't recall', or 'I have no memory of that'.

And for the skeptics who ignore the fact he turned over 250,000 emails, phone records, and texts some will say he deleted guilty ones.

Wouldn't Bridget Kelly and Wildenstein have kept their own copies, if Christie had been involved-it's a sure fire 'get out of jail' card-but we haven't seen them.

That's my point - All these politicians are full of siht, and it should be a crime if you lie to investigators once proven ... If you make a statement then you should be made accountable on what you claim, elected officials should NOT be allowed to point-blank lie and be allowed to get away with it and only be required to 'tell the truth' in a judicial setting where they are accountable.

It's no wonder politicians have a bus load of lawyers working for them and providing them with legalities on how to deceive, lie and stretch the 'innocent until proven' mantra. I often wonder that with only a 4 year term, SOME politicians don't give a crap what they spew out of their mouths.

I hoping that the next Governor and President will be a breath of fresh air for reform and improved ethical standards.

The tragic part about this whole fiasco is that it has taken over 3 years to get to this point and maybe another 6 months before we hear of any verdicts. In the meantime this ass (Christie) got to make some important decisions about this State while possibly being guilty of a crime including perjury, but just not yet proven.

As user1111 pointed out, maybe they should call on Donald Trump as a witness:

With friends like these, I'm surprised Christie hasn't moved to Canada yet.

Whiney may get a little moist over the thought of it, but even she knows you can't successfully impeach anyone who isn't on trial or under indictment. How's the Federal investigation coming along?

Past, present Fulop allies among potential Bridgegate trial witnesses

By Terrence T. McDonald | The Jersey Journal

Some current and former associates of Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop may be called to the witness stand in the ongoing trial related to the George Washington Bridge lane closures.

Tom Bertoli, a longtime ally of Fulop; Fulop scheduler Nancy Warlikowski; Corporation Counsel Jeremy Farrell; and John Thieroff, a former deputy mayor, are among the hundreds of names of possible witnesses in the so-called Bridgegate trial.

Christie's approval rating at all-time low as Bridgegate trial begins

By S.P. Sullivan | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com
Email the author | Follow on Twitter
on September 20, 2016 at 9:13 AM

TRENTON ? A new poll shows Gov. Chris Christie's approval rating at an all-time low, just as proceedings begin in the Bridgegate trial.

More than two thirds of registered voters said they disapprove of the governor in the latest Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, with just 26 percent approving ? a five-point drop from previous numbers.

"New Jerseyans are increasingly unhappy with the state and the way it is being run," said Ashley Koning, the interim director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling (ECPIP) at Rutgers University. "With Bridgegate unlikely to go away any time soon, the Transportation Trust Fund and gas tax unresolved, and a still-struggling economy, it's no wonder that views on Gov. Christie and the state as a whole have slipped to new lows."

You may just get your wish. Fullop has his own scandals to worry about including shutting down Holland tunnel lanes to get back at the Port Authority. Funny how that's not front page news here in NJ. As far the Bayonne mayor I view him as Booker what has he done for the city

When Donald J. Trump campaigned in South Carolina in December, in a crowded and tightening Republican primary, he made a pointed declaration about one of his opponents, Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey.

?He totally knew about it,? Mr. Trump told his supporters, referring to the 2013 shutdown of the George Washington Bridge by Christie aides, allegedly to punish a political foe. ?They?re with him all the time, the people that did it.?

Donald Trump Stands by Chris Christie Despite He is a liar and full of it...

The bright side is that these emails are likely to throw more shade on Fulop than Christie . . . we'll maybe hear more about this job that Fulop hadn't disclosed and then lied about his role while there.

Thankfully, we have a precedent set where he can bleach all these emails after any subpoena has been proffered-personal emails he sent/received were all about the kids baseball games, what his wife was making for dinner, exercise plans with his personal trainer, etc!

MaryAnn Spoto | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

Gov. Chris Christie says his personal email is off-limits in a request for public information by a New Jersey newspaper, but a Superior Court judge said Friday it's not and she ordered the account to be searched, according to a Northjersey.com report.

North Jersey Media Group, the publisher of The Record, pushed the issue of Christie's personal emails when it didn't get what it believes to be the complete response to its request under the state's Open Public Records Act, the report said. It was seeking correspondence among Christie and his aides pertaining to a 2013 meeting between Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the report says.

The plot thickens like good gravy...
