I don't think we should go to war but to say that we should not care if chemical weapons are being used because we have done and seen so much worse is being delusional. Unchecked chemical weapons use makes the situation worse, not better.

Please don't get me wired up again about US hypocrisy. Friggin' Obama and Kerry talking about "global" red lines. Who elected them leaders of the world? When did using cjhemical weapons become a global redline because the US had no qualms when Saddam Hussein was using on the Iranians.

And, is using chemicals that much more horrible than massacring thousands of protesters in Egypt, by gun?

The use of atomic weapons in Japan, Agent Orange defoliant in Vietnam and depleted uranium munitions in Iraq is even more horrendous since it impacts untold future generations born decades later.

I didn't think much of the wat in Libya, but at least it was internationally sanctioned. And I find it mighty funny that Saudi Arabia, the nastiest of the nasties, is a partner in Obama's sham war.

Honestly, I don't care either. It is NOT the US' problem to solve.

I don't care if Assad 'personally' issued the orders. Presidential deniability gives him an out. All that does is make Assad join Eric Holder in the Sargent Schultz 'I know nothing, nothing!' club.

Sorry, not at all like Republicans. Consider that Bush (a) explained what he was trying to achieve. One could disagree with his goals or one could think they were not attainable, but he did have them and we knew what they were, (b) asked Congress for the authorization, and never claimed that he can do without.

It's time to start thinking about impeaching Obama, says some Republicans, if he attacks Syria without Congress approval.

think the moron should be impeached for violating UN rules. Obama is such a freaking hypocrite. Russia is our partner when it does what the US wants, but is holding the UN hostage when it disagrees. Obama is a freaking jerk...i could say a lot worse, and I even voted for him

Here is another testimony as to Bookers incompetence, and the medias refusal to show it:

Booker has no spine... he has walked back a couple comments over the last few years when he was correct with the original comment! No doubt phone call came from the Senior NJ Senator who is Gung-Ho.... Speaking of Profiles in Courage, I see the newly elected MA Senator Markey voted "present" after listening to Kerry's testimony? Note that Markey replaced Kerry after Kerry went to state department! The testimony didn't convince him one way or another?

To all the Booker voters: you truly are the definition of low information voters.

You get what you deserve, which in this case, means NJ doesn't deserve JACK SH*T.

That is ridiculous.

Please tell them how you feel about this.

Here's the contact info for Menendez and Sires:

http://www.menendez.senate.gov/contact/

https://sires.house.gov/contact-me/email-me

I just wrote them:
I passionately oppose the US intervention in Syria. Please represent my sentiment by voting NO on any US military intervention in Syria. If you have any questions, please contact me

And no direct mention of Christians atrocities in Egypt or Iraq, except with the minimal references in a larger context. I am not shocked, they have no principles, they think they know better and that includes the Republicans who have joined in this fiasco. Google the "Yadda Yadda Yadda Doctrine" which describes the USA foreign policy perfectly!

It's an act of war... there are no guarantees in war, that is why McCain expand the scope of the bombing resolution in the Foreign Relations Committee vote the other day, you can't tie Obama's hands if things go wrong??? What a mess... have you seen the online video of the execution of the 3 truck drivers because they were the wrong religious sect by "the good guys" we are supporting. I think it will be proven that the rebels released the gas.

What is happening in Syria is really bad and it shows the double standards of the Arab world, but we should not interfere in other countries' matters.
