PAPD should start with making sure that the intersection of Marin blvd with 12th street remains clear. A lot of times cars block the intersections and the local JC traffic cannot pass through.

test the noise with a sound meter, if its not an offence then better sound-proofing of homes is in order!

Lots of cowards hide behind a badge and a gun! My only complaint with the PAPD(extends agency wise) is that its a patronage milll and almost everyone is over compensated with little accountability or transparency.

Formation runs around JC??? Yelling and cadence calling?? a bunch of cops?? If any winers cant take it, send them up to the Heights!! Some folks act like its a violent mob causing destruction and mayhem along their path. Im sure its quite the opposite. The JC streets probably tightend up and cleaned up, even a little bit, as the steamrolled by..... You wear a uniform, you get my respect until otherwise......AND you can Call them what you want, but I bet you wont say that to their face. Anyone can be a tough girl behind a computer. Cowards usually are.

I know you must be new to our country but please refrain from calling the Port Authority Police "junior mall cops" especially when 9-11 is right around the corner. Many of the PAPD died and suffered when the Twin Towers fell on 9-11 2001 due to foreign terrorists reeking havoc on our soil. This is insulting and offensive you should be ashamed. I hope this comment gets deleted before 9-11 approaches.

Trying to stop comments you find insensitive by also making insensitive comments that have hints of racism is not the way to go. What's the rationale? Immigrants are more likely to not respect US police forces? I don't understand why half the things are written on this site.

You're a jerkoff Steve Wilson, and apparently have no sympathy or respect for the tragedy of 9/11.

The PAPD protects our ports and airports in NY/NJ and as Heights mentioned, were first responders on 9/11. They gave their lives to help others and protect us from these Muslim scumbags.

Stay classy, son.

Blind patriotism is apparently not only a refuge for the coward, but for the mentally ill as well. I know you must be new to the concept of free thought, but this is still America and I can call the mall cops what I want.

Maybe we could get a phalanx of JCPD cops to make them stay on their own turf between 12th and 14th. I'll bring the popcorn.

I'm on the 5th floor. Not all that high up, but nevertheless.

Yelling and screaming at 6am on a JC street is not all that unusual ;) Or an off leash dog barking. Or a homeless person with volume control issues.

I also think it is a great visual clue to people that JCPD is beefing up. My kid (and I) loved seeing all of the police recruits running by the other day. The later they do it, the more traffic obstruction.

This is the Port Authority we are talking about here, not JCPD. At least the JCPD serves Jersey City. The PAPD, as far as I know, provides zero services to the residents of Hamilton Park.

I enjoyed it, but they came by my window later in the day. It's a clever way to demonstrate the focus on public safety.

Or waking me, my wife and our infant up at 6 something in the morning? Do they not realize that they are running along residential streets where people live? And I'm cool with the drill sergeant thing, but please don't wake up my entire family while doing it. You want to yell and scream at your recruits, find a more private venue please.
