Non emergency number, but usually takes cops more than 15 minutes to get there, then two weeks later, party on, routine begins again.

Are they outside in the back yard? Or inside? If outside, run on top of your roof, and throw water balloons on them and then duck out of site.

Well, now that I know who it is ;) perhaps I will.

I agree where you're heading with this, but I'm not complaining about a loud tv next door, or someone walking on top of my ceiling at all hours. This is a party with music and people that can be heard at least a block away. The suburbs can have loud jerks as well.

And these parties do go on well past midnight. I originally posted this at 1:45am.
One of his parties last year I did call the cops at 3:00am after getting completely sick of it. The cops came, the noise stopped for the time the cops were there and then came right back on.

Its beyond having a good time. Its just rude to all of his neighbors.

Talk to your neighbors about the issue and get them to also call in to the non-emergency JCPD line (201-547-5477) when the parties are occurring. Coordinating so that your calls are to the police are being made within 15 minutes of each other *will* get their attention.

If it is a rental, start a dialogue with the owner.

Happy to see I finally missed one of their parties this weekend. They are a nuisance. I've called the non-emergency number for many of their parties. It does nothing that I can perceive (loud convos, music, bad singing, etc, continues). I have spoken to one tenant, and was brushed off. Really not much else I (we) can do. I just close my windows, put on a fan and hope I'm super tired and fall asleep fast.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed by the crazy loud parties there? As of 1:45, the party's still going strong with people yelling and music blaring. I just feel like since I'm on 8th and can hear them like they're in my place (with ac and tv on) that people actually living next to them might be a bit pissed. They seem to have them quite regularly in the summer, sometimes on weekdays. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Did you try going over there and asking them if they could turn the music down and generally keep it down a bit?
