A little late on this... the line is already going through, has been going for months... it will come out by the Hoboken Lightrail... the issue is dead... everyone got paid off in the Healy Administration.

Is that what those barges are building in the Hoboken harbor near the light rail? I asked someone and they said a pipeline. I didn't put the two together.

No you are correct. Hundreds have noticed the same. I walked over and sure enough, the hard hat I spoke to was sporting "SPECTRA ENERGY" on his hat. Where is the No Gas Pipeline on this? What pathetic leadership! This has been ONGOING for weeks...in that specific area! Get over to Jones Park, in the back and underneath the turnpike. They were apparently fixing up some type of spillage. Wow, the NGP leadership is so out to lunch, they can't even offer any surveillance of the SPECTRA invaders. I'll take it from here morons at No Gas Pipeline (who by the way couldn't even process my tee shirt order.) I guess NGP was just a creation of fiction by SPECTRA. Wake up western downtowners!

The person who can't figure out how to upload photos is calling everybody else morons? Yes, the pipeline sucks but the Feds get what they want especially when Lobbyists are greasing Congressmen and Senators. You should check out how freaked out NYers suddenly are after learning that the pipeline is being built. They didn't even realize it was almost finished and just a mile away. We The People get boned and blown up.

I'll be making some calls this week for sure.

You know what you need to do. Create an anti-pipeline faction. You can be Hamas to NGP's Fatah. Do it now before they kill us all.

I've resided on 7th and B'wick for over eight years now.

The apathy astonishes me!

Shall we all have a meet?

Nonsense. Whatever it was had nothing to do with a "construction machine." What I observed was a large hole in the ground with four or five hard hats standing around with hands on hips while some huge machine was extracting huge amounts of energy from the local power source!

Oh yeah, that's all it was, no big deal. Spectra will have it all sorted out in no time, lol.

It was from the Pipeline construction at the end of 9th street. Whatever burst was inside or next to what looked like a shipping container. I hope this accident gets looked into.

If the actual pipeline were to burst in this section, I'd be dead. Quite sobering.

There is a huge noise West of Hamilton Park, near the White Star. Does anyone know what it is? It seems to be coming from under the turnpike extension....
