It's official: the miserable ghost of Lee Atwater is now wandering our streets, strategizing for Healy.

I got one of these mailings today and retched. Thanks for all the hard work you've done for Ward F, mayor. Like letting most of the bus lines evaporate on your watch. Like ignoring us during Sandy's aftermath (as did your equally baffled council appointee, Michelle Massey). Like turning Pacific Ave. into a commuter corridor for Staten Island. And so on.

And this mailing is all you've got to give us?*

I'll send this message to the Healy campaign directly, but want to suggest it to others here: for every nauseatingly unethical mailing like this I get from him, I contribute $50 to Fulop. Period. Maybe for fun I'll make it $100.

* Berry Lane Park blah blah blah fighting for Ward F blah blah Berry Lane Park blah blah. Yes, I've heard it, mayor. Big pat on the head.

I did not; my other half did. :( I'm beginning to think he doesn't love me anymore.

Maybe it is just delayed love and I will get mine for my next birthday..

Are all of the Fulop flyers bi-lingual ? I notice that candidates send out either single language non-english literature or bi-lingual campaign flyers to Latin sounding names, which can be other than Spanish such as Italian or French. Please stop assuming it is just one language associated with an ethnic sounding name especially if English is the native and only tongue in the voter's household.

I got the Fulop mailer today in Journal Square. No Healy newsletter :( I'm beginning to think he doesn't love me anymore.

Maybe it is just delayed love and I will get mine tomorrow.

We've got Yun fliers almost daily in our mail...right in the garbage can. We've gotten Fulop ones in the building but none for our unit. Heights here.

Could the Healy "newsletters" and attack mailers be Ward specific?

I haven't seen anything from Healy. Only a glossy mailer from Mr. Fulop.

Downtown here.

Now we get to see Healy's full plan for fundraising.

Plan A - hit up developers and city contractors for donations. OOPS! Fulop's pay-to-play laws make that illegal.

Plan B - shakedown city workers for contributions, and reward some of them with raises, promotions, and increased pensions. Looks like the Jersey Journal caught them on that one.

Plan C - do an end run around the law and illegally use political action committees to get unlimited money from secret donors. OOPS! Fulop caught them at that one.

Plan D - just use taxpayer money to print your literature and do your mailings.

I'm sure there's a Plan E we haven't heard of yet. Maybe tap Dan Levin for extra cash.

And don't forget Plan F for FAILURE - Solomon Dwek's money is still funding Healy's campaign, despite Healy's promises to give the money to charity.

You and I just paid for Healys political mailer with our tax dollars. Every page is a mirror image of his Campaign materials.
He must think we are all a bunch of idiots.

Yes he does, and yes we are if we vote for the crook again.

I only got the Fulop mail. Better for my blood pressure.

I opened my mailbox yesterday and there was mail from both Steve Fulop and Mayor Healy. Both Glossy well done pieces.
Fulop's mail was I guess a kind of introduction to the people who do not know his story.Paid for by team fulop at the bottom.
Mayor Healy sent an eight page news letter with a screen shot of his tv ad on the cover. Inside was all the wonderful things he has done this year.
Reduction of crime,more parks,etc.

Then it hit me,the Healy mailer came from City Hall as an official newsletter. No paid for by team Healy at the bottom.
