Does anyone has recommendation for chess classes, beside the one from School Plus (we have a schedule conflict there).

Can anyone recommend a good place to get chess classes for an 8-yr old? either outside classes (eg group classes), or at home one-on-one would be ok too. Would prefer Jersey City downtown locations.

Small groups, based on level and ability. Classes are taught by a professional chess instructor. First class is FREE! Winter 2013 Schedule: Saturdays, 01/12 - 03/30 (no class on 02/16) Beginners Group: 11:15 - 12 pm (from 4 yo) Intermediate Group: 12:15 - 1:15 pm (all ages) Location: Boys and Girls Club, 1 Canal St Jersey City To sign up for a free trial class, register on our website, www.school-plus.com/hudson or send us an email with your child's name and chess level.
