I used eleos for when it was time to say goodbye to my beloved cat. The doctor and the vet tech were wonderful, caring, and took their time and explained every part of the process to me. It wasn't cheap but it was well worth it.

$100 was in addition to the regular fees and the disposal. I think we paid $80 for a group cremation (meaning the dog was cremated along with other pets).

I remember it all being very expensive, but for my partner who was devastated at losing his beloved pet, the $100 was nothing.

I believe the disposal fee was by pounds, but it was almost 10 years ago now and I don't remember.

Really? When my avatar Bruce was in the same boat as the OP's, they charged a lot more than that and I had brought him in. They also have a mandatory disposal fee, saying it was illegal to give him back to bury in the yard.

Azul,

So sorry to hear about your beloved pet. I don't have experience with this service, but it sounds like what you're looking for:

Our beloved cat is in the final stages of renal failure and we are looking to avoid the stress that comes with a trip to the vet for our final good byes. Has anyone had experience with in home euthanasia? Any recommendations on who to use?
