I've noticed it happening more since the gentrification began and the new population increase. I\'ve seen youth on roof tops throwing eggs and objects at people.

I know one person actually punched in what seemed to be initiation ritual and class or racially motivated attack.

Don't mean to frighten or alarm anyone new to the area but this does happen.

I had a similar incident last summer at the junction of Montgomery and Kennedy. I was stopped at the light in the car, windows rolled down, and some idiot schoolkid thought it would be fun to throw a stone through the open car window at my dog.

A couple of years ago there were a lot of incidents involving egg throwing in Hamilton Park. It's hard to know where to draw the line on this kind of behavior. IMO until someone gets hurt it's not going to be taken seriously.

You should have called the cops. The guys were on bikes at night and easy to spot and the cops have cars. Chalk another one up for the hooligans because you gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were trying to cave yours or your dog's skull in.

lol..wow..some people just are stupid. Glad you weren't hit though, but guess it comes with city life. You will always find idiots like that somewhere which is real unfortunate.

I was just out walking my dog by Hamilton Park and I heard the sound of young guys yelling and laughing and a loud bang. Just then, three guys on bicycles came around the corner and as they passed me, they threw a handful of rocks at me. The rocks didn't hit me; they just missed me and hit the metal fence that goes around the park and made another loud bang. Maybe the guys didn't realize I was there and just wanted to hit the fence, because they kept going and threw more rocks at the fence as they went down the street. Though they must have seen me. I thought about calling the police, but the three guys were out of earshot within a minute or so.
What is wrong with people?
