I was on 4th between Erie and Jersey today and a falcon swooped down and took a pigeon that was in mid flight.

Pretty violent and disturbing but impressive at the same time.

He dined atop the building next to the old Baptist church on the corner. I would find it strange that the same bird would also take another animal, so I guess a pair is fattening up for the winter.

I hope it wasn't someone's cat that had been taken behind 4th.

Hello Neighbors,

I am sorry to say that i saw a black and white cat being eaten today in the driveway alley behind fourth street. It was just standing there with the black and white kill beneath it. It could have been a skunk i guess but what else is jet black and bright white??? I have two cats that roam the yard so i am sorry if it was your kitty. I took photos but they are so bad that you can hardly make it out.
