Is anyone aware of any restaurants or caterers that provide a delivery service for school lunches? The school is in Jersey City. I would like to present the idea as an alternative to the principal. I don’t like having to pack a lunch every day.

Sounds like a good idea, but it will be hard to compete with whatever company the school hires to provide lunch at school. However, you can target parents individually to provide alternative lunches to be delivered at the door every morning before school and even at higher price than lunches available at school....

I believe all Jersey City public schools are mandated to use the same BOE selected food vendor. I don't know what is the procedure for privates, but when I visited OLC they said they had to switch vendors this year and use someone from the list provided the city. (BUMMER)
Overall I think that would be a good idea, since my son does not like the school's food nor mine. Another idea would be to home deliver and be put in their lunch box.
