Went Sat as well. Definitely the best vibe I have seen in JC, good crowd, attractive people, great sound system and music.

We dropped in this past Saturday night and it was really packed! Good ambiance, eclectic crowd, easily one of the best outdoor spaces of any downtown JC spot. :) The decor was very classy and inviting. We bumped into a few of our neighbors there!

I was wary walking by for all these months, but so glad we decided to venture in!

crowd is pretty mixed. laid back. i'd say mainly late 20's to mid 30's. i havent been there in a while but it was never packed. close to full though.

It's amazing that this place isn't up to speed as of yet. wasn't it summer of 2009 when it had it's "soft opening" ?

I'd like to go there, but it's hard to plan on going if you're not sure it's going to in fact be open.

How is the crowd on the weekends?

Just wanted to give a plug to this bar if you haven't already tried it. It's not clear to me why they still put up brown paper during the day and remove it at night, but my husband and I have been there a couple of times and had a good time. The space is beautiful, the bartenders attentive and they have a really, really nice garden area out back. I'm not sure what the deal is regarding whether they are still in a soft opening 6 mos later (only open Thur-Sun) or serving food, but I recommend you check it out.

I was excited for this place at first - nice looking patio and I'm all about tapas and wine. But now months later they still are not serving food regularly, and every time I go in there the service is abominable. I'm generally pretty patient with bartenders, but on more than one occasion I've been completely ignored by the woman behind the bar when there were literally fewer than 5 people in the room.

One of my friends has already written the place off after similar experiences. I'm hoping they find some decent bartenders once they're fully open.

Tried searching on this place within JCList and came up empty handed.

Has anyone visited?

I've got their spot all reserved on a site of mine, but their hours don't mesh with my availability. Walked by daytime the other day and caught a phone number that was no good. Their facebook page cleared things up on the contact side, but no answer... rightly so, their biz hours are only select days of the week.

Anyhow, they're close to my house and they're within a range that my busted hoof can amble over to. Any rationale as to why I should review this place with celerity is appreciated.
