The little punk on the bike is lucky he's still alive - the cops won't know if a gun is fake or not - they'll assume it's real.

Arrest in fake gun robbery

Thursday, January 29, 2009

A 15-year-old Jersey City boy armed with a fake gun was caught by police after a foot chase in Greenville on charges he robbed a 17-year-old boy near a city light rail station minutes earlier Tuesday, officials said.

At 6:18 p.m. police responded to the light rail station at Claremont and West Side avenues where the 17-year-old victim told them a boy on a BMX bike pointed a handgun at his head and said "Give me everything you got," reports said.

When the victim handed over his cell phone, the boy cocked the gun and said "Do you wanna die? Give me all your money," but the victim said he had none and the robber took off with another boy, reports said.

Police broadcast a description and an officer on MLK spotted them, reports said.

Police said the 15-year-old was carrying the victim's phone and an imitation handgun.
