Could this be where the phrase "Ima bust a cap in yo ass" comes from?

Did you just make that up? I think you did. I'm not saying it's not a smart idea, to shoot someone in the fanny so as not to kill them, but I still think you made it up.

The attackers -- asking the victim where he was from -- speaks volumes.

It is interesting that there was just a major bust at the Duncan Avenue Projects. I wonder if this stabbing was related.

[See thread titled: Lincoln Park: 3,750 bags of heroin seized, 6 arrested at A. Harry Moore Public Housing (Duncan Ave)]

As far as the fact the guy was shot in the butt -- "fanny" (as I said in another similar thread)

and what's with adding the time to the headline? Would it have made it difference if he was stabbed at 6.34pm? Would the level of FEAR be raised?

We all have to be home tucked up in bed by 9.44 or THE BOOGEYMAN WILL GET YOU!

But wait:
The headline says the man was stabbed in his "Jersey City."
Isn't that more like the "Fanny?"

Well I heard it from the police myself but the leg area that he got stabbed in was close to "the fanny" area.
Alot of this stuff thats written in the Jersey Journal & whatnot, 70% is made up of opinions & hearsay, alot of the facts dont come out till a few days or weeks later.

Heard from who? Do you know these people? If you do, please tell the victim that I am sorry about his fanny wound, since that is what he TOLD THE POLICE, regardless of what you may have heard.

Is there more or less merit in being stabbed in the fanny than in the leg area?

They didn't rob him? They just stabbed him? In the fanny?

Sounds crazy to me.

Jennymayla you made me laugh with calling it a fanny. I haven't heard it called that in years. Thanks for making me laugh.

Who knows -- but the attacker did ask where the victim was from -- so this could be about perceived gang affiliation.

I would like to see more police presence in this area at night. Clearly it would be beneficial. This is a neighborhood full of friendly people, young adults, and many families with small children. We should feel safe and secure in and around our homes.

Yea and about the same time, maybe earlier there were 3 armed robberies in the area. 1st on Mallory & Clarke, next one happened on Belmont bet Westside & the Blvd & the 3rd one was on Duncan & WestSide. 2 black males in a white Mercury with front end damage. I dont believe they have been caught yet.
