I have nothing against Asian, Black, Irish or any other ethnic group. But here is the problem, it takes time away from the basic curriculum. It is probably why US students are behind other countries in Math and Science. Those other countries only to study their own history, political correctness is not added to their curriculum, and they can spend the time studying core subjects. The number of subjects added to the curriculum since the 1970s have really expanded greatly.

Councilman-at-large Rolando Lavarro and a group of activists are pushing for the passage of state legislation that would require the inclusion of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) history and contributions in New Jersey’s K-12 curriculum.
