I was sitting in a taxi on Hudson St. about 50 ft away when the explosion happened. It was insane. The driver got out thinking he had hit something because the car felt like it lifted off the ground. Crazy

Turned out the transformer blew up at the essex Light rail station. It was a pretty significant blast (at least pressure-wise!)
