I use that South ramp for launching a kayak, and I have never had to wait AT ALL. There are two ramps there, so even if someone else is pulling in or launching, you should be able to do the same.

There weren't very many trailers yesterday, you won't have to wait long if at all.

Thanks guys! Price is not bad. I'm looking to head out in about 1/2 hour. Hopefully it's not that crowded.

They run a sailing school there for kids during the summer, so be careful with young kids in the water learning to sail.

Its an annual fee - I launch my fishing boat there and never that crowded (or I'm just lucky when I use it)

South end of Liberty State Park and the launch ramp permit fee is $170 for NJ residents, $200 for non.

I just bought a new toy - Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 310LX. Cannot wait to play on it. Where is the best spot to launch from? Price for permit?
